RTAC HMI Runtime Files is a deployment package for Schweitzer Engineering’s Real-Time Automation Controller (RTAC) platform that provides the assets required to run operator interfaces directly on the controller. The package includes the web pages, graphics, scripts, and configuration needed to render HMI screens in a browser, enabling real-time visualization and control of power system devices and processes through the RTAC’s embedded web server. When installed with an RTAC project, it presents status, alarms, trends, and control actions while aggregating data across supported protocols (such as DNP3, Modbus, and IEC 61850). The runtime leverages the controller’s security settings for user authentication, role-based access, and logging, helping utilities and industrial users deploy reliable, low-maintenance local or remote dashboards without a separate SCADA server. Typical applications include substation HMI, feeder monitoring, and site dashboards integrated with existing RTAC logic.
